$375 Introductory Package, includes:
One 90 minute session with full body assessment, goal setting and preliminary exercises, plus
Two 50-minute follow up sessions based on your goals, plus
A MELT ball (with instructions to remind you how to use it!)

Part fitness exercises and part bodywork, Bodywise sessions will help you to create sustainable fitness and wellness habits. Whatever your level of health, fitness, or age, a unique Bodywise program built on your specific needs and goals will make a noticeable difference in your physical and emotional health. Your body will change, but not just in lost pounds, you will change inside and out. You will be challenged to decide how you want to live the rest of your life. How you want to feel day to day. Bodywise sessions are an ideal balance of Stott Pilates, weights, TRX, the MELT Method, functional fitness techniques, and many props and movements that will challenge your body, and mind, in an astounding way.
Why can't I sign up for just 1 class? In order to make a permanent change in your habits you need to make a lifestyle change. One class is never going to do that. If you are truly committed to making that shift in your life, then let's go. The only way to do the best work I can do for you is to help you create goals, coach you through the initial process of implementing these into your daily life, and for you to take advantage of all of the insight and expertise I have to offer to get you to the next level. Unfortunately, a bad habit takes much longer than 21 days to break, it's more like 60 days! But the good news is that it's easier to form a new habit than breaking an old one. One session just isn't going to cut it, so let's get started!
What can I expect?
Your first session will include a discussion of your health history, your goals, Stott Pilates basic principles, MELT Method principles and technique, AND a complete body assessment to help define your posture and possible imbalances. We'll then focus on your specific goals and create a mini program that you can easily follow at home. Depending on your personal commitment and time we'll create a regular schedule to meet and expand on your program. After you've taken the initial Intro package you can sign up for individual sessions as often as you wish.
No one is perfect! Every one has imbalances in their bodies, whether genetic, from injury, biomechanical issues or bad habits.
We will bust the myth of measurements–of time, weight, inches and age! We will work together to get your body into a place of balance and strength that is right for you, where you are in your life, now.
Continuing sessions may include working on the mat, reformer, wall unit, TRX, weights, and MELT soft rollers, as well as with many props. You will be informed of how each piece of equipment works so it doesn’t feel foreign or strange to use. You’ll never go too fast and you are never pushed too hard, but you are encouraged! Modifications can be made to every exercise to suit you personally. The Melt Method is an important part of this program. It is a bodywork technique that targets our body's connective tissue to relieve chronic pain. The MELT Method will give you immediate changes in how your body looks and feels by: Relieving aches and pains, reducing inflammation, easing chronic neck and low back strain, improving alignment, easing knee pain, reducing cellulite and generally keeping your whole body working better and feeling better! This method uses specialized soft body rollers and small MELT Hand and Foot Balls. It's changed my life and I'd love for it to help yours.
Bodywise private follow up sessions (prerequisite: Intro Series)

$45 1/2 hr MELT sessions MELT sessions are an ideal tune up for ease in daily living. Yes, for anyone who sits in a chair, drives in a car, uses a computer, pushes a vacuum, lifts a baby.... And it is a great boost for enhancing whatever exercise that you already love to do, like yoga, running, golf, soccer, tennis, horseback riding, cross fit, pilates, to name a few! This 60 minute energetic dance class features movements from Brazil, Cuba and Africa providing participants with a unique and fun cardiovascular workout. Students learn basic dance movements designed to increase strength, balance, flexibility and body awareness.
Global Soul is designed for beginner dancers who have never taken traditional world dance and intermediate dancers who have had prior experience with traditional dance forms. This is a friendly, stress free environment designed for the student to learn the basics of these dance forms and to have fun moving!
Wear comfortable workout clothes—no shoes needed
Beginners welcome - no dance experience necessary!
Happy Body - (will be rescheduled soon!)

We’ll engage in a combination of pilates exercises, MELT method exercises, and breathing & movement techniques to increase strength, flexibility, balance, body awareness and release tension. Using the mat, resistance bands, MELT rollers, stability balls, and the weight of our body alone, each class we’ll explore how you can gain strength and confidence in your body and move with ease, more strength, and less pain. Often, classes will have the addition of HIIT training and/or be taught in a circuit training format.
These classes will help you discover your personal, complete happy body. No spot training! A firm tummy and more flexible hamstrings are fabulous, but only when all of your other muscles are equally addressed into balance, including your mind. Our goal is to feel healthy, think healthy and live each day with happiness and optimism.

Working with Laura
Working with Laura is a personal and fun experience. She creates unique sessions that are specifically designed just for your body, goals and abilities. Laura has a plethora of interests and brings many of them to the table during her personal fitness sessions. A Brazilian dance teacher and artist, she is keenly motivated by how you move through space and how you relate to your own body. Every motion translates to an ideal marriage of balance, finesse and ease. The combination of Laura's training in Dance, Stott Pilates, the MELT Method, the Franklin Method, the Gyrotonic© Expansion System, and Shiatsu massage all profoundly influence her style of teaching. Even her experience teaching as a Boot Camp instructor adds a special twist to many sessions when, and if, appropriate!
Ultimately, Laura will give you a safe, fun and pleasantly challenging experience. The goal is never to ‘just get a workout’, it is to become strong, confident and knowledgeable, with the ability to be comfortable moving your body every day.
